My Issue

The issue is when I click on the three dots of a song and then select "Add To Playlist" it shows two menus blinking back and forth and I can't select the playlist I want to add the song to.  I have gif of the issue I will try to embed.  I did upload it to giphy as well so you can see the issue:

Thanks for the info @the_epitome.

Your feedback on this is greatly appreciated, folks! For the time being, some alternatives you can use are:

  • right-clicking the song(s) - this opens the same context menu
  • using the (+) button
  • dragging & dropping the song(s) to one of your playlists

I also recommend always running the latest version of Spotify so you don't miss out on any updates.

The Community is here if something else comes up.

Take care 🙂

My Question or Issue

I noticed a small UI bug. I click on the three dots on a song. A menu opens. I click the first entry "Add to playlist" and a new menu opens which contains all my playlists. It appears to the right of the other menu, then immediately disappears, appears to the left of the other menu, disappears again and appears to the right of the menu again etc. It keeps flickering like that. See attached screen recording.

This happened on a 1920x1080 screen with the taskbar on the left side and the window maximized.

Workaround

Change the size of the window.

Hello everything is fine!

Thanks for pointing out this bug, and I would appreciate it if you sent it to Spotify support. They would directly submit this bug to the development team for review!

Keep me updated.

It looks like you guys fixed this. I can't reproduce it any more, on macOS anyway. 👏
