[All Platforms] Spotify gets confused when AirPods are removed and/or device switching occurs

[All Platforms] Spotify gets confused when AirPods are removed and/or device switching occurs

macOS version BigSur 11.1 Beta (20C5061b)

iPhone 11 Pro iOS version 14.3

Spotify Mac Client version: 1.1.47.684.g136419d9-a

Spotify iOS app version: 8.5.86.739

AirPods version: A2031 v.3A283

1. Install Spotify on BigSur (Mac)

2. Install Spotify on iPhone 11 Pro (iOS 14.x)

3. Pair AirPods with both (currently BigSur and iOS 14 use handoff for AirPods)

4. Listen to a playlist on the Mac Spotify client using the airpods

5. force the pairing of the AirPods to the iPhone - this is make sure the sound is now on the iPhone

6. On the iPhone, launch the Spotify client and start listening

-There will be an error that appears on the Mac client that the song cannot be played on your computer.

This error is false.  The song could actually be played via the computer speakers.  The message I should be seeing is that playback has been switched to the iPhone.

7. Switch the AirPods back to the Mac.

The song that is paused on the Mac client (with the error)  will not playback.  The error will continue to appear.

8.  Hit the FWD button

The next song may or may not play.

9.  Turn BT off and back on again.

10. Close and relaunch Spotify on the mac

The Spotify app will now operate normally.

This is an intermittent problem but is has occurred repeatedly since this last Mac Spotify client upgrade.
