Can't rearrange tracks within the playlist in MAC desktop

Hi quick question for anyone

I have read that, after making a playlist, you can single-click on a track and move it to the place you want it to be in the playlist order.  But I am having issues with that.  I single-click and drag, but it does not move anywhere.  Anyone else have this problem/have any advice?  Thanks!

I'm guessing you're on an iMac as I am (just tried and it works).  Did you uninstall, then re-install Spotify?  Also, make sure you have the latest version of the macOS installed(Version 10.13.4 (17E199).

This functionality appears to have been removed from the desktop app in the past 2 weeks.  Playlists I have had for years now have lost their track ordering and there is no longer any way to reorder them in the OSX desktop app after the latest update.

Probably intentional to force people to go premium.

Spotify on Mac...how to manually reorder tracks in playlist.

Above song duration column there is a "SORT BY" button

Click on it then tick CUSTOM ORDER.

You can then manually move tracks BUT THIS WILL ONLY WORK BY

CLICKING ON A SPACE BETWEEN COLUMNS.
