Can't see album artwork after latest update

My Question or Issue

I just updated my spotify and now I can't see the album artwork in the bottom left corner while listening to music. I know it isn't the end of the world, but I enjoyed being able to see the album when listening to music especially with some of the trending playlists I listen to on occasion.

i've been having the same problem! i was worried it might just be my computer but it seems to be across the board. @spotify please fix this ily

The same issue was posted and a solution was found:

Just resize the left bar and it'll reappear.
