Can't watch JRE

Can't watch JRE

I can't watch or listen to JRE on my Spotify app on my macbook. What do I need to do?

Country: Sweden

OS: macOS catalina

I have Spotify premium

Thanks for searching for the answer you need here.

 

We recommend you log out everywhere and run a clean reinstall on all your devices, this involves deleting the cache files of the app and will force a account wide resynchronization of your info. You can have a look at this guide for the steps relevant to each device.

 

If that doesn't fix thing could you see if the issue comes up when connected to another internet network or when logged in with a friend or family members account?

I followed the instructions and it still doesn't work. On my mac it just doesn't play anything and on mu iPad i get "Playback failed. We're not able to play this video in your current location."

Is the podcast restricted to USA? What can I do more?

Can you log in with another account - such as a friend's or a family member's to see if the issue persist?

I tried with my brothers account and it didn't work either.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

 

Could you give it a go with another internet network and check if the videos are playable there? If it works with another connection, it's best to contact the service provider of the original network for more information. If you are using VPN you should also deactivate it, as Spotify doesn't support it.

 

If that doesn't fix things, do the episodes play with video on our web player? We'd appreciate it if you try out these troubleshooting steps with both your and your brothers account.
