Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

hi! I'm having the same issue! I reinstalled my app and restarted my computer and still nothing. I'm using an iMac with Mojave iOS 10.14 and my Spotify version is: 1.1.5.153.gf614956d

We'd first recommend taking a look at the steps provided in this Spotify Answer if your Spotify accounts were created through Facebook regarding the error message you see.

 

You can also make sure to try the steps provided in this Spotify Answer regarding your Friend Feed not updating in your Mac device.

 

Please note that the Friend Activity can sometimes experience minor delays, but if it’s not updated in over a week the following can help fix it:

  • Check the app is up-to-date.
  • Check your device’s operating system is up-to-date.
  • Restart the app. 
  • Log out of Spotify, then back in.
