Finding Accounts On Mac Desktop

Finding Accounts On Mac Desktop

Plan: Free

Country: United States

Device: Mac Desktop

Operating System: OS X Version 10.6.8

My Question or Issue:

I can't find my account/username from my desktop's cache. The instructions said to open FINDER then click GO > LIBRARY > APPLICATION SUPPORT > SPOTIFY > USERS, the problem I'm having is that when I click GO there is no LIBRARY option in the menu bar. How can I find my account/username from the information stored on my computer? I've attached 3 screenshots of the options I have when I follow the directions given on the Help page

Hey @Venusflytrap200, Welcome to the Community.

Hope you're doing great!

OS X 10.6.8 doesn't have this option in the Menu Bar as far as I know but you can give it a try by holding the Option(ALT) key on your keyboard and then clicking on the Go option in the Menu Bar, just as stated in this support article.

If that didn't do the trick the Library folder you're looking is located under the partition OS X is currently installed. This video might come in handy if my instructions weren't easy to follow 🙂

Hope it helps.

I followed the directions in the video, however, my APPLICATION SUPPORT doesn't have a SPOTIFY option. What should I do from this point?

Hey @Venusflytrap200,

Is Spotify installed?

If not when was it uninstalled? Did you use any app to do that?

Please let me know 🙂
