Local files

Hi all,

I am new to spotify and have a couple of songs on my laptop which I can't seem to find on spotify so I am trying to access them via the local files feature. However since I listen to music from my phone most often, I need to add them in a playlist to be able to see them on my phone.  This feature seems to work fine but these songs then only appear in this particular playlist I added to rather than also appearing in the "songs" section which seems to contain only the songs I downloaded directly from spotify. I was wondering if I could somehow put the local files into this "songs" section so I can then view all my music in the songs section and can add them from there to multiple playlists if I so choose?
