MacOS Desktop App Not Allowing Albums to be Added

My Question or Issue

Mac Desktop app no longer lets me save albums or songs to my library. When I try to add an album the icon flashes but then it doesn't get added to the library. 

 

I'm able to add albums from the mobile app, but then those albums don't show up in my library on the desktop app.

 

I uninstalled and reinstalled the Desktop app, so I'm on the latest version.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out about this. 

 

You mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one? After this process, we suggest that you restart your device. 

 

On another note, we recommend checking your firewall and antivirus to make sure Spotify is set as an exception on both.

 

Additionally, could you check if the OS of your device has any pending updates?

Clean Install did the trick!! Thanks for the help
