MacOS Desktop App "Something went wrong"

MacOS Desktop App "Something went wrong"

This error appears whenever I try to use the search function within the desktop app.
Listening to songs in Playlists works.
Web-app works perfectly fine.
Already ensured the app is not in offline mode , switched to another network and also performed a clean reinstall and more. Nothing worked yet

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out.

 

Right now we are aware of an issue with Search with some machines running an older OS or older versions of the app.

 

Could you please make sure you're on the latest Spotify version and let us know what it is? You can check it here

It's also a good idea to try a clean reinstall to clear any old files that might be causing issues for you.
