Musixmatch not working on desktop osx app

I have 1.0.1 with lyrics button, but when I clcick lyrics button I get a 

"We'll be back shortly. Your connection is slow or weak" message. Have done so for days now.

Connection fine & not slow or weak.

Anyone else seeing this issue?

My Musixmatch is also not working. I have a computer from my school that has fire walls and proxys, but I'm the only one that seems to have this problem. All of my other friends with desktop app for spotify have working musixmatch, but im the only one with this problem.

It says that it couldn't find the lyrics or that the lyrics don't work. The ironic thing is that it works in my phone, just says that it doesn't have the lyrics in the computer. (I have a mac, and an iphone).

What can I do about this?

Just wanted to mention I have the same problem with my two Macbooks

MusixMatch isn't working on OS/X

But it's working fine on my iPhone and iPad

MusixMatch is working fine on iOS

I hope someone from Spotify or MusixMatch minds this thread and gives useful guidance. For reference, I'm a premium subscriber. Thanks!
