OS X (Mac) app: most artwork missing - why?

Hi

Most artwork is missing in my Mac app. It compromises the experience a lot.

Screenshot below.

Thanks.

Hey @mattspots

Try a clean reinstall of Spotify to see if this fixes the problem:

Advanced method:
https://support.spotify.com/article/reinstallation-of-spotify/

Easy method:
Download this free app cleaner. It's super easy. Download button is on the right side

http://freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/

When you open up the app, click the search icon and search for Spotify and it will automatically find and delete all files on your computer related to Spotify.

I use it all the time and it's a really great tool. If you ever decide to uninstall an app, the best way is to use this tool.

After that, download and reinstall Spotify.

Note: after you reinstall make sure to go into the Spotify settings and redo your preferences

Thanks for your reply. I already fixed this, as you say by doing a clean install manually, including deleting caches. I basically did search on disk for all file with Spotify in the name and manually deleted them all.

Glad to hear you got this fixed!

A late reply is better than no reply at all. The community forum is user to user support and us volunteers do our best to reply to most posts, but it's just not possible to get to them all.
