Obscure/unpopular tracks do not play

Obscure/unpopular tracks do not play

Recently I start hitting issues with playing obscure/unpopular artists/tracks.

 

Here is an example:

spotify:artist:3AUmmVu7wsx1EvUr1vlsk9

 

I hit Play and on most of tracks progress stays at 0:00 and nothing plays. For the artist above second track from Popular list plays for me but any of 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 do not play.

 

And this is just one example. I hit lots of examples of this. Is this by design? Is it a known issue? I expect tracks be playable if they are listed on Spotify, even if they are rarely listened by anyone.

Thank you for your post here in the Community. 

 

Can you perform a clean reinstall of the app? This step will clean the cache and corrupted files from previous installations that can cause issues.

 

Also - does this occur on one specific device or multiple devices?

 

It would also be great if you can let us know which version of the app you have?

 

We'll keep an eye out for your reply 🙂

App version is 1.1.46.916.g416cacf1
It happens on macos but never happens on Windows. Under same account and same tracks.
Let me do clean reinstall and I'll file a new issue here if this will happen again after the reinstall.
