Spotify desktop started not working for several months now.
Everytime I try and open it, it will close as soon as possible, I'm not even seeing the popup appear.
I've deleted everything related to spotify in the library/caches folder.
Restart and Shutdown the Macbook.
I don't know what to do anymore. Please help.

I solved my issue by following this stackoverflow. I would assume it's an issue with spotlight (Not sure) but my spotify now opens after i reset it.

I tried a different internet connection and it didn't work.
I just got a popup now "The application Spotify can't be opened" and then an error code (Cannot remember it now something with two digits).
But now the popup does not appear again. Spotify just closes instantly as soon as I open it, like before. (Cannot even see the window appear so fast it close)
My OS is: macOS Big Sur Version 11.1

Thank you for the troubleshooting you've done so far.
Can you open your mac in safe mode? To enter Safe Mode - just hold the Shift key while booting. Make sure the Firmware password is off.

If the app launches without an issue in safe mode, there could be something within the configuration of your Mac that runs when booting regularly, which then closes our app.
In a case of a Windows PC, we would suggest to check if you have any Antivirus or similar software that could prevent apps from running, but to understand why this happens on your Mac, we'd recommend to get in touch with Apple support.
It's also a good idea to check if the app runs on a different administrator profile. If it does, it might be a specific profile-based restriction.
