My Issue
I consider myself as a power user and therefore I use yabai window manager to make full use of my small 14 inch screen. Some features of this software that matters to me requires disabling macOS' System Integrity Protection (SIP) to work. Before the latest macOS update where Universal Control was introduced, Spotify works great and as expected, with SIP disabled. But after the update, Spotify suddenly starts to crash, 2 seconds after the window opened. After restarting my Mac like 3 times and reinstalling Spotify 4 times I thought it was a system corruption, so I reinstalled macOS just to make Spotify work again. But after I installed the window manager and disabled SIP the app crashes again. Then I realized the new macOS update caused Spotify to not work without enabling SIP. This is a bummer for me as I enjoy the music on Spotify as well as all the features that my window manager offers, but as of now I still choose Spotify over the window manager. Although that is the case, I still hope this "Spotify does not work without SIP" issue can be solved. Below is an attachment of error messages from Spotify when crashing in case anyone needs it.

hello are you still having this issue?
well I re-enabled SIP and Spotify works now but I hope I can use Spotify with SIP disabled which did not work when I tried 2 hours ago
Very interesting. So Spotify's crash is potentially due to disabled SIP. But what I am wondering is how Spotify did not crash without SIP before the new system update, and how to achieve the same result again (if possible). Downgrading macOS does not sound possible so I do not see it as an option. I guess it's okay if there is no workaround or the Devs are not going to look at this anytime soon but it would be best if that can happen
Have you solved the problem of not being able to open Spotify when SIP is turned off? This problem has been bothering me for a long time, even after updating to 12.3.1. If you have any solutions or need my help, please feel free to contact me. E-mail:**bleep**
