Spotify not loading social bar or artist page.

Hello,

Spotify won't  load the social activity bar, friends profiles or artist pages (remain blank, with a find people tab on the SB). It's working other than that. Happened after I installed the update this morning. Tried loading a previous version, that will open artist pages, but not the social bar (and it updates itself pretty sharpish).

I'm a premium user on a mac running OS X 10.7.5

Any ideas?

I highly reccomend letting @SpotifyCares know what's happening. They managed to fix the problem for me, it's nice to see a live activity bar for a change.

My activity feed is working again so it seems Spotify is busy fixing this!

Solhafrita - We are aware of the issue and we're reporting all the info we receive here. However, I can't guarantee that it'll be working normally in 24 hours time (I say this to avoid any potential disappointment - my Activity feed has literally just started working again).

If anyone is still having the issue and hasn't left details already, could you please provide the version of Spotify you're running as well as the operating system? With this info, we escalate all the info we get.

Same problem in the last 5 days. I have tried in different computers and with different versions of Spotify and the problem continues.

My version is 0.9.1.53.g876fa9df and use Windows XP

Mine appears to be working again now on Windows 7 (at work) so will test on my personal mac at home.

My activity bar is alive again!

The bar of one of my followers also works again, but he still does not see my music???

He installed spotify on his Macbook, version 0.9.1.33.g876fa9df...

An other spotify version than mine. Could that be the problem?

activity feed starting working for me last night... for all of one song! Friend was listening to a whole album (going by their FB post) but still it was not showing on my activity feed?!
