Spotify not loading social bar or artist page.

Hello,

Spotify won't  load the social activity bar, friends profiles or artist pages (remain blank, with a find people tab on the SB). It's working other than that. Happened after I installed the update this morning. Tried loading a previous version, that will open artist pages, but not the social bar (and it updates itself pretty sharpish).

I'm a premium user on a mac running OS X 10.7.5

Any ideas?

Seems to be working again for me for a couple of hours, now.

Was broken on two machines, now works on both.

Though my follower count is still zero (despite friends having me on their list...)

Yeah, mine *seems* to be working now (although I have no idea if I'm getting a feed from everyone I follow or just a select few), fingers crossed it stays thaat way!

I do appreciate the fact that the problem has been fixed (thanks!) but I would just like to reiterate that Spotify's communication with regard to it has been pretty shocking. Please, next time something like this occurs can we be kept more in the loop with regard to status of the repairs, estimated time to fixing, and perhaps even exactly what the problem is for those of us who are technically-minded and might find it interesting?

And I'd second the last comment. Shouldn't really have to tweet, email, private message, and post here again (all today) to get a result. Just a short message describing what seemed to be the problem would have been enough. Anyhow, thanks!

Haven't wanted to jinx it, but my feed has been working now for the past three days. Which is great! Only weird thing is when i log out then back in again, the songs my friends have played last are always bottom of the feed (after certain Artists playlists etc, which they last published over a month ago) no big deal i guess, just happy it's working again, just thought i'd let you know. Just done the new update, 0.9.1.57 from 0.9.1.53... so fingers crossed it carrys on working fine!

OK... . after an unacceptable down-time, social bar would appear to be updating again now...well done, thank you and time will tell whether it has really been fixed or not..

Yesterday the activity bar finally worked. After three weeks!!!! But today i have lost my follwers and the people I follow. When i look on the profile of these people, i'm surprised to see that i'm still a follower and following them. But at my profile I have no followers. There is marked that i'm following 9 people but i can't see them. These problems started after the upgrade (version 09157ge7405149) this mornig.

And strange but true, when i renew the person i want to follow, i follow him suddenly twice?????

How to resolve my problem?

BTW Please stop changing spotify constantly. A few months ago all worked excellent and now there is always a problem.

I have noticed that when I uninstall and reinstall completely the spotify application, the social bar is updating but after that, when I re-open spotify, there is no updating of the activiy bar.

if it could help to solve this issue, I've noticed that when I am playing a title with my mobile devices (iPhone / iPad) the feed actualizes but not when i am using the computer app

I too have this problem! I know my friends are listening to things - tested it - but activity will not show up on my feed. It's been a week. Tried fresh install, etc not working!

I am once again having issues with the activity bar: it is only updating for one person I am following. This has been the case for the past several days and this is getting a bit stupid now.

I think the general rule on "upgrading" to Spotify's latest versions should be to wait at least 3 weeks from the the first time we are asked. 

That seems to be the sweet spot for bug fixes.
