Spotify prevents IMac screen saver from working - any ideas

I have identified that a file within Spotify prevents screen saver and sleep from working on Mac IOS 10.15.5. Troubleshooted with apple and the file "spotify helper" prevents this. I have spent time trouble shhooting and its definitely the case.  Spotify starts this automatically when starting spotify. Anyone seen this issue and apart from closing spotify before you want screen saver to work.....know a fix?  SEE ATTACHED SCREEN SHOT

when the screen saver is on, it stops audio playback, meaning that if you want your audio to carry on playing your mac cannot go to sleep

This is an issue unrelated to playing music. If spotify is open then screen saver is disabled regardless of any music being played.

if you want the screen saver to come up, just quit spotify
