Spotify won't open on my Mac and I even uninstalled Spotify

I tried everything including deleting all the folders in Library (cache, applications, etc). I even put my Mac on Safe Mode to check if it was a Mac thing (it wasn't). I restarted, shut down, uninstalled, reinstalled, etc etc but Spotify refuses to open. I'll click on the icon but it'll just bounce but not update.

We appreciate all the troubleshooting you’ve tried so far. It's possible that this behavior could be related to specific cache still stored on your device, so in this case, we'd also recommend clearing any entries which contain Spotify from the host files on your Mac. To do so, you can follow the instructions mentioned in this post.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking if the Web Player is working properly using the same Mac?

Lastly, include in your next response the OS version of your Mac, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
