The "exclude from your taste profile" option has disappeared and reappeared several times

I believe this is really more of a features issue as opposed to a technical support issue, but this is the best place I've found to put it. I have noticed that options to exclude or include playlists from my taste profile has disappeared and then reappeared at least a couple of times. Playlists also currently have the option to be either public or private, and I can also add or remove playlists from my profile.

What on earth are we doing here? This is beyond confusing. With all due respect to the talented Spotify UI engineers, you've made an absolute redundant mess of this. The options seem to constantly change, yet the functionality is subpar, and has never been more opaque. Pick a lane.

Hey there @itskerem,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your comments with us. Spotify is always testing possible improvements and new features, so that might be the reason why some things could change within your app.

In addition to this, you can take a look at this article to find more info on playlist privacy and access.

Once again, thanks for your feedback. We'll make sure to pass it on to the relevant teams.

If anything else comes up, the Community will be here.

You can exclude a playlist by using Spotify on a web browser, rather than using the desktop software or your phone. For some reason they can't figure out how to sync all the functions between different platforms/devices. Like there's no reason we couldn't view "new music" on the desktop app until recently, yet I could view it on my phone way before that.
