My Question or Issue

Hello! I'm trying to play music from old playlists I have from several years back. All the songs on the playlists are grayed out. Whenever I try to play them I get a blue message saying "This content is not available." Please help!!

If I search for the songs individually I can play them without issue, but if I access these playlists the songs are grayed out.

This happens on Spotify Web Player and the desktop app.

Hey @swagner5000,

You may get such an error with bigger playlists or with ones, that were comprised of local files, which are no longer present.
Would you mind giving us a link to the playlist in question so that we can take a look :?
Many thanks!

The best way to start tackling this error is by doing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app. This will often fix any issues that you're having with the app itself, and it's a good way to rule out any potential problems with your computer or phone.
