podcasts "can't play the current song"

Almost alway when I try to listen to a podcast I get a "can't play the current song". I have to reboot spotify and it works. This doesn't happen with music. Any ideas?

Just to confirm, have you tried performing a clean reinstall of the app with the steps here?

We'd also recommend restarting your device after the installing the app again to give it a fresh start.

If the issue persists, could you let is know if you experience this on the web player or on mobile as well?

Does this happens with downloaded podcasts or when streaming on Wi-Fi or 3/4G?

Thanks for the response. I don't want to jinx myself but I didn't do anything and now it's performing properly.
