A 'newbie' question...

A 'newbie' question...

Hi All,

My understanding is that Spotify is a 'streaming' App, so even when I choose 'Add to My/Your Library' from the desktop App the music file is not actually present on my HDD - unlike when I 'buy' music from the iTunes Store or Amazon - am I correct?

Hi ukdeejay and welcome to the community! 🙂
That is correct - the file will not be a physical copy on your HDD as though it was purchased. You will have access to the songs you save to Library so long as you use the service to stream it, but no physical rights to a copy.
Have a good one!
