Ads despite having premium

My account shows a premium, payment is all good, have uninstalled app and reinstalled, logged out and back in, restarted app numerous times and I am still getting ads! What is the point in paying premium if I am going to get ads anyway?!

i can’t attach a screenshot because your system doesn’t accept jpeg, only jpg… yeah.

May I ask where you're getting those ads in?
It fails with uploading images sometimes - you can try uploading to an image hosting site and then link it here.

Podcasts are known to have adverts in them, basically the podcasters choose to have their sponsors placed inbetween their own content and as far as I know it's outside of Spotify's grasp.
