After entering login info, red circle with backslash will appear, refuses login

Help please! I have had this problem for about a week now and it's only getting worse. So first I uninstalled Spotify on my computer because it wasn't picking up on my internet connection so I reinstalled it. But now whenever I try to login, the information locks (does not let me edit it anymore) and then when I hover over the login info with the cursor, a red circle with a backslash appears, like the "no" symbol, and never logs me in! I have tried logging in with Facebook, with different usernames i.e email, username, etc., used an antivirus software to check for viruses and malware , and checked for updates. Nothing seems to work. Even the webplayer refuses to play music!!!! If I can't find a solution soon I'm gonna have to say goodbye to Premium which I use on a daily basis 😞

Just to confirm, if you try logging in to the web player are you able to access your account?

 

If not, try resetting your password here, and trying to log in again.
