My Question or Issue

A bug report for the Spotify developer team!

In the desktop app, the album text appears to be be clickable through the toolbar despite not being visible. No other column appears to have this problem. The issue is consistently reproducible. So far I've only found the issue in the windows desktop app, but I've only been able to try on the desktop app, web browser app, and android app.

Reproducing steps:

1. Navigate to a playlist or other screen that displays the Album column

2. Scroll down in the playlist until

    a. The toolbar compresses and

    b. At least 1 song has been scrolled past.

3. Hover your mouse directly above the album column within the tool bar

4. If you move the mouse slowly in a straight line up and down the toolbar running parallel to the album column, eventually the cursor changes to indicate the area is clickable.

5. Clicking, when the cursor changes, redirects the user to the album that "would" be there if the toolbar weren't present.

File included contains a screen capture of the above reproduction steps

Hey there @MigSalazar,

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community!

First up, we suggest that you try logging out and then logging back in to your account twice in a row. We know it sounds odd, but this will trigger a sync between your account and PC.

If this doesn't do the trick, it's well worth running a clean reinstall of the app to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking if you can replicate this behavior on a different PC?

If so, sending us the exact make/model, operating system and Spotify version of your PC would come in handy. We'll take a closer look.

Let us know how it goes.
