Alexa Echo not in device list on Windows app

My Question or Issue

Alexa is working/playing with Spotify and replying to all commands by voice.

However, the spotify app in MS Win10Pro, version 1.1.42.622.gbd112320, it is not listing in device the Alexa Echo. It is listing others, such as Sonos, but not Alexa.

The strange thing is that Alexa is appearing in web/browser in Spotify.

We'd suggest you disconnect the device through Spotify here. Then you can login into the Alexa App and connect with Spotify again.

If that doesn't do the trick, you can give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall. Sometimes the cache can lead to different issues. After that you can try again connecting Alexa to your account.
