Hey @TriggerHappy00,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

Would you mind letting us know the exact Spotify version of the account(s) you experience this with?

We'll look out for your reply and be here for anything else as well!

Edited post. I'm so sorry, forgot the most important thing.
Auto update was active and no update on ms store.

I have same experience and suspect thte issue is related to the ads, they might differ from different languages. If I minimize the app the CPU goes from 20% to 0,4% on my system. Typically if the ads are made with bad coded javascript they will take a lot of cpu. When you minimize the window JS is halted and the CPU drops.

Hey @TriggerHappy00 and @tnfno2

Just to confirm, do you still experience this after updating to the latest Spotify version and restarting your device?

Thank you for keeping us in the loop!

I am running latest version and this is probably related to the ads, that is why it only shows up randomly and in some languages when there is a CPU hungry ad. Badly programmed javascript that eats CPU.  I have a Core i7 10th gen brand new laptop and SPotify takes almost 30% CPU when some ads are showing.  But if you minify the Spotify window to the taskbar, javascript is halted and the CPU drops below 1% still playing music.  You should check your ads before bringing them online!
