Can no longer navigate songs within playlists when using "search songs in playlist"

Before the new update, i was able to search for a song within a playlist, click on that song to mark it, and then clear my searchbar. This would scroll me to the songs location in the playlist, but when i do it now, i get tossed to the top of my playlist with the song unmarked, making it quite difficult to find a specific song in a large playlist.
