Can't access Spotify on Laptop

My Question or Issue

I can't access spotify website on my laptop. 

Error messages, 

Chrome:This site can’t be reached

www.spotify.com refused to connect.

Edge: Hmmm… can't reach this page

www.spotify.com refused to connect.

I have no issues with any other website and i'm not using a VPN. I can access it no problem on my phone using the same wifi network.

I can't even get onto the spotify website to download the web player to see if that works.

I have AVG free installed and nothing on there suggests spotify is blocked. I have disabled AVG and tried to access and still no connection.

I have no idea why I can't access Spotify, help please.

thanks for reaching out !

I would recommend trying an incognito webpage and a different browser for the process to see if it makes any difference.

In addition, check out if any firewall is blocking the Spotify website.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately I tried the solutions you recommended but still blocked.
Firefox didn't let me in either and can't see anything with the firewall

I would like to ask for some screenshots of how the error messages look on your end as well as the link you're using to enter the website.

Please make sure to hide any private/sensitive info is not visible. 

Also important for your to mention if you're having any issues with your Spotify apps.

In the meanwhile, please try and restart your device and take a quick pick of this solved thread here if you're having issues with any of your apps.
