Can't delete local files that are in "liked songs" playlist.

Can't delete local files that are in "liked songs" playlist.

So i saw that there are multiple posts on this already, but i've tried all resolutions and can't find a fix for it.

To my Problem: in my "liked songs" there it shows local files some from 2018 some from 2019 that were once added to spotify but as of now aren't existent anymore, i recently reset my PC and when i opened spotify i noticed a bunch of "Greyed Out" songs from my liked songs playlist, so i went ahead and tried to delete them, clicking the heart didn't work so i tried it with the "Delete" Button on the Keyboard and there the song goes away for like 2 seconds and comes right back, i tried deleting the "local-files" thing in the Appdata, didn't help, reinstalled spotify, didn't help either, at this point idk what to do really. I should add i only saw it since i purged my entire liked songs to clean up my spotify and the "Liked Songs" therefore doesn't show on mobile as i technically have no "liked songs".

Hey @pocketmaster123,

Thanks for your post! Unfortunately, I can't offer any other workarounds to this issue as it sounds like you've tried all the typical solutions. If you could please vote and add your detailed feedback to this thread, it would be much appreciated as that helps the Spotify team continue to follow and investigate instances of this happening in users' libraries.

If you could be be sure to include the following in that post, that would be great:

  • Your device and OS version
  • Exact Spotify version
  • Any screenshot and the steps to reproduce the issue (In this case, the screenshot you included here would be perfect to add there as well).
