Recently, the Spotify app updated to a new layout on Windows. But after a day, I was logged out, and haven't been able to log in again.
I don't have a dedicated Spotify account, so I cannot log in that way. When I use Facebook, Google or Apple log in, I get directed to a blank site that simply says:
"Missing required parameter: redirect_uri"
I can log in on the web player just fine. I've looked around and haven't been able to find anyone with this issue who is not a programmer, which is just odd, because I just want to log in.

Hey @MauriciusRex,
Thanks for the reply.
You can try to reset your password and log in with your email address and the newly generated password as a standard log in. Not via Google, FB or Apple.
Let us know if that helped.
Hey there @MauriciusRex,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community, and welcome 🙂
We'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app. This is often an overlooked step, but it can be helpful to get rid of any corrupted files that might be causing issues.
If this doesn't do the trick, could you send over a screenshot where we can take a better look at what you're seeing from your end?
Keep us posted.
I did a clean reinstall, it didn't help.
And here's a screenshot of what I was talking about, though I'm not sure what was possible to misunderstand.
Hey @MauriciusRex,
Thanks for the reply.
Can you check if there are any entries containing the word Spotify in your host files? You can follow this Answer as a guide.
If you see any, try removing those lines. After that run another clean reinstall of the app following the link @Novy has provided.
If you've installed Spotify from the MS store it's worth trying to download it from our website and vice versa.
For test purposes you can try creating a free account with another email address and check if you can log in with that one.
Keep us posted on how you get on.
Unfortunately, that didn't work. There were no lines containing those words, but I purged the two lines there were there, and did a clean re-install, but no change.
And I did download the installer from your website, so it's not that either.
I assume I can log in normally if I had an actual Spotify account, but since I use a third-party account, it won't work because it directs me to the browser, which gives me the result I showed before.
I can also confirm that I can successfully log on Spotify on the mobile app.

Alright, that worked. Thanks!
