Can't play the current song error

Hi,

Since a week i've got problems with Spotify on Windows 10. I'm getting the error: "Can't play the current song". This happens during almost every song i'm listining to. Sometimes after a minute, sometimes halfway etc. The music stops playing but the progress bar keeps proceeding. When this happens, I also can't skip to the next song. The progress bar starts but the error stays. To fix this, i've to restart Spotify. Not really a fix since this happens almost everyone song (multiple times). 

I've already deleted Spotify using Revo and aftherwards CCleaner. Rebooted the pc. Installed Spotify from the Windows Store and tried the version from the website. Problem remains. Currently i'm using the Store version 1.0.74.380.g1fcff12a

In Spotify I turned off Hardware Acceleration, turned off High quality streaming for testing (and back on because i'm paying for premium), turned off all local files and turned off autoplay. Problem is not fixed.

I've also checked my network but that doesn't seem to be te problem. Every other stream outside of Spotify works perfectly. The logs in the modem and router are also providing me enough info, telling me it's not an network issue.

Tried Spotify on other devices but those work fine.

What can I do to fix this? It's pretty annoying. I can't enjoy even one song.

I'm having the same issues.

When looking it up, I see this continues to be an issue for the past 8 years. Spotify for some reason still doesn't fix it. This is the reason they will never compete with Pandora or Apple Music. The web player sucks. I just have to use it through my phone.
