Can't select multiple items in queue when using Connect

Can't select multiple items in queue when using Connect

Shift+click to select multiple items in the queue works fine when just using the dekstop app.

However when streaming to Connect it suddently stops working.

 

Spotify Version 1.1.56.595

Would you mind letting us know if this worked fine previously? 

 

In case you haven't, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app as this could help remove any cache that might be causing trouble.

Hey, thanks for responding.

 

Reinstalling and/or clearing cache did not fix the issue.
I'm not 100% sure but I remember this working correctly before the recent UI update.

Can you try from another device to see if the issue persist?

It's also always good to make sure that both devices is up to date.

This is reproducible both on my work and personal device.

I check my linux device which still has an older version, and there it does indeed still work when trying to select multiple items while streaming to a connect device. (can't check the newer version there at the moment sorry)
It works on the android app but there it has a checkbox to select multiple items instead of shift-clicking.

I'm 99% sure this is just a bug and not influenced by any external factor.

Thanks for keeping in touch and for the extra info.

 

To be able to narrow down the possible cause of the issue, could you try logging in to a different account, like a friend's or relative's, to see if the behavior is the same?

 

Also, try using a different connection, like a mobile hotspot or a different WiFi network to see if that makes any difference.
