Can't update profile picture after deleting Facebook

My Question or Issue

I recently deleted my Facebook account. I did this without disconnecting it from Spotify first. This has probably caused some bug in your back-end systems that prevents me from uploading a profile picture.

Whenever I try and upload a picture using the desktop app, it only shows on the same profile page and nowhere else. It disappears as soon as I restart the application.

I tried updating/reinstalling Spotify, changing my password, all to no avail. I also checked the /v1/me endpoint on your API, which returns an empty list for the images property. This leaves me suspecting that my Facebook account is not properly disconnected. Can you fix this?

Could you first try the following steps to make sure that your Facebook profile has been disconnected on Spotify's end:

1. Open the Spotify desktop app.
2. In the top-right corner, click the downward arrow and then Settings.
3. Under Social, click DISCONNECT FROM FACEBOOK.

If you've done that and it still doesn't work, could you do the following:

1. Open Facebook in your browser and log in
2. Click the arrow in the top-right-hand corner > Settings
3. In the left-hand bar, select Apps and websites
4. If Spotify appears in the list, tick the box next to it and click Remove
