Can't use space when typing in playlist

My Question or Issue

I click into my playlist and try to search for a song, however every time I hit the spacebar pauses the song, as opposed to allowing me to type the next word in the song title. I've had this issue previously but it went away after I uninstalled/reinstalled the software. This didn't fix the issue this time.
