Hello,
I did everything, install, réinstall, test the store version, the app version... create a new account, make new playlists... My app randomly stop to work. Buton are not responsive. Playlist stop to charge, i have to crash the app in windows, restart... it is working 20 minutes or 1 minute, maybe 1 hour, et restart to crash... Since since 3 days without any explication...
I play a lot of local fils. But i did not have any problem before.
I the debug files, this is the text ": [0611/112157.390:ERROR:registration_protocol_win.cc(108)] CreateFile: Le fichier spécifié est introuvable. (0x2)"

Thanks for posting this thread in the Community and we appreciate you sharing what troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
Would you mind sending us a screenshot or two of the error message that you see, as well as one showing how things look like in the app from your end? You can attach it via the Insert Image option in the post editor, just make sure that no sensitive info is visible.
It's also worth mentioning that there's currently a thread here where other users are experiencing issues with the app on Windows that misbehaves when playing local files. I recommend that you take a look and if it's the same issue that's happening to you, you can join the thread and add your details there to help with the investigation.
In the meantime, you can remove and re-add your local files to the folder on your PC and also, make sure that all of them are in the supported formats.

I still have the bug. Sometimes i can not play any music, ands the app is freezz. When i try to play music, nothing happen, and when i try to change playlist, it tells me it is not possible to find the playlist dat was working 10 seconds ago...
I close the app, then restart the app, and there is "spotify is not responding".
I'v try all solution with cach, resintalation, new account, event i install az new version of windows, and the problem is stil here... My mp3 files are ok, since i use them since month, without problem before.... How can i know if there is a corrupted mp3 ?
(sorry for my bad english, i'm baguette...)

You mentioned reinstalling the app, but just to be on the safe side, I recommend that you check and follow the steps for a clean reinstall in this article if you haven't already. It's more detailed and helps resolve different performance issues.

Are you able to play your local files from the Local Files playlist folder or if the app crashes there as well?
YES, when the is a freeze, nothing works...
Are you able to stream any music at all in the app, is the issue only caused by the local files?
I don't know. When it is freezing, nothing work.... it is becoming impossible to load nothing... i'm even unable to open settings... It is freezing sometimes after 2 hour working. Sometime 1 minute after lunch. It is total non sens....

I DID. Still crash.
Sometimes, it freeze even with i'm not playing any music.... I lunch the app. I comeback 20 minutes after without playing music... and when i want to play music, the interface freeze immédiatly... playlistes not woking... no music playable... like the process is broken on my windows...

Thanks for your reply.
From what you kindly mentioned, we understand this is an issue present only when playing local files. Since you're not sure about what happens when streaming music on the app, we'd recommend you go to the settings of the app (when possible) and locate Your Library> toggle Show Local Files off.
Afterwards, we'd suggest you explore some new music aside from your local files. You can use the search option to look for some artists/tracks you love and play them. Give this a try and let us know how the app behaves.
