Custom Playlist Images not updating publicly

Custom Playlist Images not updating publicly

Hey spotify freinds:

I couldn't find any submitted questions on this topic:

I recently changed the playlist image for one of my playlists.  I see the new image when I perform a search, but when another person (not me) searches for my playlist, the "old" image comes up in the search results.  BUT, when that person clicks to open my playlist, the "new" image appears.

Why have this option if it doesn't work fully?

Anyone that has a clue about this, please let me know.

Could it be that someone at Spotify has to approve search images?  (Still, when a public user clicks on my playlist the new image appears inside)

This is wierd.  I'm talking to myself in this post, but, incase someone ends up here looking for that answer too, the image appeared on search results, a little over a week after I posted this. It wasn't anything I needed to do.  Should I give myself kudos here?

Hey not sure if you'er still having this problem but I'm seeing the same thing. What I've heard is that this feature is only available for Spotify's Rock Star Program members. You can sign up with this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdYmqhCVH62hCinsOKqpZjmYOuAd2dGDQJdR2mjq7Qwa8XdeA/viewform

Once you're a member you should be able to unlock to the feature of changing your playlist image. Hopefully that helps you.

Think the image should appear over time.
