Are you effing kidding me?!
1. Oops! You showed us your jerk! Should we all resort to name-calling? Because I've got some for you now.
2. Just because someone values something you don't, does not make them petty or any other such thing.
3. If you find that the ability to delete a station is not a worthy cause for yourself, that's cool! But you don't need to hijack this thread for people who do find it worthy. There is an unsubscribe button, you know 😉
@Rollo_
Believe me, I would definetely prefer to stay with a European company instead of an American (esp. nowadays), but I am just so annoyed that Spotify is obviously unable to fix so many little things like deleteing radiostations... They are updating the desktop- and the mobile-app so often, but still, I haven't seen any developement in points the users write about here.Another example, to me, is the unpossibillity to browse ones choosen songs by artist, genre or album, and not just playlists - this seems SO basical to me...
I am just disappointed and it feels like Spotify doesn't care too much about what is written here, or they just don't want to make these changes for reasons they don`t wanna tell...
If I pay 10 Euros a month for every company in this departement, why not try another? From what I´ve seen, everything I wish for is already possible on Google Music all access...
It's not that you can"t delete... You can"t add after you get to twenty... Support calims you can keep adding and push some out.... this is not true

Oh dear... Spotify has missed a trick here... come on dudes.. dont you read this Sh**t and know that users are Pi**ed with the very strange notion of adding stations only for them to be there FOREVER!!!
Please..please..please.. sort this out.. this should be very simple.
We are aware of the high demand for this issue. I should point out though that as things stand created stations don't remain on your account forever. New ones will push the older ones out, so you'll have a maximum of 20 at any one time.
I hope that clears things up a little.
This is not true..... they may cycle out by some unstated time frame... but you cannot add past twenty to PUSH some out...
i was wrong.. the radio will push if you create new.. i was using start radio....
We are not leaving due to the inability to delete a radio station. While that does remain an issue, the problem here is that I cannot have my music organized. I am an organized individual and if I go to my list of Radio Stations, I want to be able to see, and select stations that are in an organized structure. I don't want the 20 most recent stations sitting in there all the time, that isn't organized. It's bothersome, to scroll through stations I have no interest in. It's bothersome, because even if I go through more stations to push out the old, I don't have any sense of an organized radio station list. This just doesn't jive with me, it's freaking annoying! I love the rest of the service, but I want an all in one service that provides me instant access to music of my choice.
I won't pay 9.99 a month for a service I am not completely happy with, and to then support a company that doesn't have it's users as it's top interest. I will cancel my subscription and check out Google's product. If that fails, I was perfectly happy with 3.99 Pandora One.
Cheers.
No,actually. Not clear at all on what you mean. I used the term "deal breaker" because that is the issue that convinced me to cancel my subscription to this service.
nothing more complicated than that, Joe.
Any progress on this from Spotify? Apparently not. Come on Spotify we really need this. I will not be upgrading to Premium until this is done.
Well it is frustrating to have to delete your entire list of radio stations and add back in all the ones you want just to get rid of one station. I just hate to be critical of such an otherwise fine service but, C'mon SPOTIFY, what gives?
I have heard that there is a fix coming out soon though, its called iTunes Radio.
Once again, it seems like Apple has figured out and is ready to deliver what people want. From the iTunes Radio description at thier site:
"To add or delete stations, just go to Edit Stations. That’s also where you can select artists, songs, and genres you want to hear more of or none of."
These two posts will likely disappear soon, but really, its just about giving customers what they want. It does not take a great deal of effort to a a 'delete' function to a database - so there is some other reason....probably about the money connected with showing a large base of subscribed artists, even if many of them are undeleted/unwanted. Hey, all I'm saying is, don't hand people reasons to leave the service. If I'm happy , I stay where I am, but if I'm not, other options catch my attention. I would love to stay.
Yes, new ones will push old ones out once you get to 20. However this is in itself entirely unsatisfactory in that you may well push out stations you really want to keep. A simple delete buttom would simply cure all this.
Spotify should look to their laurels. Have just signed up for Blinkbox. They will let you save stations AND easily delete them! What is more their entirely free music is at a higher bitrate thatn Spotif'y's standard rate. Not as good as Spotify's premium rate but still sounds fine over a PC.
I second the request for more asian music.
I am a long-time Premium user, from well before the annoying FB integration (but let's not get started on that). I used to tell everyone I met and discussed music with about Spotify, gave gift certificates to my friends on their b'days to get them to use it. I really saw it as "the future of music" and was a true "fan boy" and ambassador for Spotify.
It is issues like this one that made me stop doing that and being that. Spotify's blatant unwillingness to fix mindboggingly trivial issues like this feels like them giving their loyal customers a big fat FU finger, with a big grin on their face.
So I don't tell anyone about Spotify any more. I don't share music any more through Spotify because my friends tell me it is annoying how they get a cascade of alerts and messages on both Spotify and FB when I do. I don't use the radio feature any more. I still listen to my playlists but I am actively investigating some alternatives. Won't be long I think before I say goodbye to this "service"..
Spotify also needs more African music. Far too often, I find my favorite artists not having new songs or albums on Spotify.
Explain to me why I should pay $120.00 a year to a company that isn't listening to its users desires? You have a top ten list of complaints from customers for over a year and its still not fixed???? seriously???? There are no plans to fix the delete station which is a top complaint???? From what I understand about marketing you find out what customers want, then you give it to them. Pretty simple if you don't your company dies as someone else takes over providing the customer with what they want. So seriously, why would I spend $120.00 a year when you don't take customers concerns seriously???
We need a way to delete radio stations at will. Maybe I don't WANT 20 stations at a time especially when I make mistakes with the like and dislike and stations start playing music I DON'T like assuming that I do. PLEASE figure out how to make stations deletable AT WILL.
I just signed up for premium, big mistake. The first thing I wanted to do is delete the preloaded radio station (JayZ) - and I find I can't do it. Really? It looks like a lot of other people have the same problem and Spotify is "too busy" with other more important projects. This is unacceptable and I will be canceling my subscription today, before I get to involved such a lousy customer service provider.
This was a deal breaker for me... I am OCD about my playlists and what stations I would have... I am sure this is some marketing ploy that Spotify is doing. There is no way they could be as stupid and miss something this large in their UI...
I am breaking out my own CDs.. Spotify fail...
HEHEHEHE The spell check for Spotify doesn't recognize the word Spotify!! Perfect...
Cancelled Google Music to try Spotify 30 min ago. First thing I tried to do was delete a Jay Z radio station. Couldn't. Googled it. Came here and no solution.
Curerntly cancelling trial and going back to google play.
This is apparently eith not ready for the public or is intending to be an inferior product.
Adios
