Deleted Spotify AppData - liked songs disappeared

My Question or Issue

I deleted my Spotify AppData because it was eating a lot of space and I really needed it (around 10+ GB).

My liked songs disappeared from the desktop app. I see I still have them on my mobile app.

Any idea how I could recover them on the desktop app as well? And is it possible to move the appdata to another partition without issues?

Hi there @andreinastase

Welcome to the Community and thanks for getting in touch about this.

First up, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

If this doesn't do the trick, we'd also recommend giving these steps a go in order to check your host files.

Additionally, you can change the storage location in the app settings, but the app itself has to be in the main drive.

Let us know how it goes!!

It worked after a clean reinstall.
Magic. Thanks @Eni
