Spotify stays on top, toggling hardware acceleration only works for a while

Hi,

I am using Spotify app on a PC running W10 and unfortunately it tends to stay on top whenever I try to switch to another opened application. This issue is apparently quite common as I found a couple of solutions online. The thing is solutions are basically reinstalling spotfiy or toggling hardware acceleration. They do work... but only until I reboot my PC. It's not hardware related since the same thing happened on my previous desktop. All of my drivers and my system are up to date.

Anything I can do to get rid of this problem? It drives me crazy.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

You can try the following:

• Perform a clean reinstall of the app, following the steps in this guide; however, install the app from our Website instead of the MS store.
• Try logging in with a different account and see if you get the same results after restarting the PC
