[Desktop] Desktop App (for Windows) is STILL terrible

I have been a paid subscriber for years. I enjoy using Spotify. It works just fine on my cell phone. However, for years--with every (PC, Windows) computer I've ever had the desktop app is clunky. I want to be able to use the desktop app to listen from my computer. Plus it's easier to search, organize, and create playlists and manage my library via the desktop app compared to the mobile app...when it works. I have to do a fresh install almost every day. When I start up my computer and open Spotify it loads to a black screen. So I reinstall. Then I have to wait 5 minutes or so before it's up and running. Randomly it will stop working--I'll search for an artist and get a blank screen. What's the deal? The forums have been of no help.

Try disabling or enabling hardware acceleration in Spotify.
