[Desktop][Podcasts] Cant play JRE video or audio whilst using a VPN

Using windows laptop app, can't play JRE videos or audio on SPOTIFY PREMIUM whilst VPN is connected.  Which will make my subscription redundant. Any ideas how to fix or if SPOTIFY will update the settings so I can listen by my own volition.

Same issue here. And it's isolated to JRE as far as I've experienced. When contacting support they basically said 'get off VPN'. But that's hardly a solution.

Thanks for getting in touch about this. We'll gladly shed some light on the situation.

Keep in mind that Spotify doesn't officially support VPNs. That's why there is the possibility that the app doesn't behave correctly when using one.

However, if you think that other users might like to have this option as well, it's well worth adding it to our ideas board here. Others can then vote on it or add to the conversation to show their support.
