Desktop client jumping focus view after clicking on a track in a playlist

Sometimes when clicking on a track in a playlist, the view will jump into focus on that track and change the scrolling position. This also means the track under the mouse cursor changes.

This is a problem because double-clicking would then start the wrong track.

I have a video-recording of the problem, but I don't want to share it publicly as it shows my private personal info.

Is there a way to share this example to the Spotify team directly? Thank you.

Hey @drey09,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community.

Can you let us know if you've already tried to log out > restart your PC > log back in? We'd recommend to  clear your cache to remove any old files that might be interfering with the app's performance.

It's also a good idea to try with a different account. You can ask a friend or a family member that has a Spotify account to log in on your computer to see if the app behaves the same way. If that's not possible, try creating a free account for testing purposes.

If that still doesn't work as expected, try running a clean reinstall of the App on your PC with the steps here. This step lets you start afresh with the latest app version by removing any corrupted files from previous installations.

Let us know how it goes.
