Desktop overlay is turned on automatically when starting Spotify

I don't know since when this is happening, but I have turned off the overlay option in the settings and the slider actually shows "off".

When I start Spotify the overlay is there again until I go to the settings and turn the overlay option on and off again. This happens every single time spotify is closed and started again.

It is rather annoying that the setting is not being saved correctly or applied propperly.

I am also having the same issue with Windows 10 and Spotify version 1.0.83.318.g6c07039d

Same problem, W10 and same version... Spotify, start providing proper customer support, this community nonsense is just lazy.

I'm also finding this very annoying.  Might ditch Spotify and give Youtube Music a go instead.
