Hey @CrinosAD,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

At this point, we don’t have enough information on what you’re experiencing. Are you having troubles using the Connect feature? If that's the case and if you are not able to see your device, we'd suggest checking this page out and trying the troubleshooting steps mentioned under "Don't see your device?" part of the article.

If the above is not the case, we'd like you to elaborate more on the issue you're having, so we can get a better understanding and advise you further. Please send as much detail as possible. Any screenshots you can provide will also be helpful.

We'll be on the lookout for your update.

I've been having the same ongoing issue with Spotify Connect not working properly between the Windows 10 desktop app and the iOS app + browser player. I've updated both the desktop app and iOS app to their latest versions as of today, but the same problem persists. The original topic about this issue has been marked as Fixed and archived.

Hi,

I've been testing further.
To describe my test setup.
Host1 - win11 - spotify app
Host2 - win11 - spotify app
Cellphone - Android - spotify app
2x Chrome cast
Samsung Soundbar Q950T

Host1: version 1.2.11.916.geb595a67
I can see the Samsung Soundbar (Connect to other devices), but not play on it.

The other hosts/cells cannot see Host1.

Host2: version 1.2.11.916.geb595a67

Can see all other devices and connect to them, minus Host1.

Cellphone:

Can see Samsung Soundbar

Web browser:

Can see Host2 and connect/play on that host.

My problem is that Host1 is a stationary computer, where I've connected amp/speakers, Host2 is my laptop and I used to use Host2 to control my music while it streamed audio to Host1 and it's amp/speaker setup.

My own troubleshooting:

I've reinstalled the Spotify app on all devices where possible.

I've bypassed all firewalls, first by creating specific rules for Host1 and Host2, then by placing them both directly on Internet without a FW.

Sniffing on traffic packets without finding anything out of the ordinary. (tcpdump and wireshark).

Problem first occurred:

After an update of Spotify App on Host1 and Host2.

Hey there folks,

Thank you for keeping in touch and for the info you shared.

We've forwarded this to the relevant team, however we can't confirm when or if it will be addressed.

In the meantime please make sure to keep app up to date with the latest version, so you don't miss out any important fixes or improvements.

Cheers!
