Devices do not have the same songs in Spotify

Devices do not have the same songs in Spotify

I use Spotify on my work laptop, my phone and my private laptop.
Work and phone are all good, I added several new songs recently.

Coming home, I notice that the last 10 songs I added are nowhere to be found in my list of added songs, any ways to fix this?
I tried reinstalling

I tried going into offline mode for a while and then going online again to see if it starts a synch

I tried adding/removing songs, but nothing triggers synchronization.

I would really appreciate if that could be solved, I tried finding other posts with the same issue but nothing mentioned anywhere worked for me.

Thank you!

I just had a similar experience, my post is just above yours.  My playlist reverted to a prior state in my laptop version but it's updated all well and good in the browser version... Quite lame.

This could be a million reasons why. First off, were those ten songs from the Spotify library, or were they songs that was on a local drive? And or were those songs from iTunes? Lastly, if those were actual music files, you must be connected to your job's network to sync those files with your mobile/laptop (the same network the laptop is connected to. As far as I know, Spotify can only read DRM free music. So, purchases from iTunes are not compatible.

Hey, thank you for your insight, but I only ever add songs on Spotify directly, and I added them a few days back. 😕

I get this sometimes too. I update my playlists on my desktop but when i go on my phone sometimes theres still old songs on there or the new songs ive added arent there either.

Hmm... That's interesting.. I haven't had that experience yet. A long time ago I recommended that spotify have some kind of "refresh" option. I think this could be one of those instances where it would be useful. The only thing I can think of is that the licesense is about to expire for those songs. But even I have to think... Not all 10??? It might be a good idea to chat with Sptify staff, maybe those songs need to be reported as a bug, or file correption.. Not sure what that is to be quite honest.
