Difference Same volume level for songs / tracks

Hey there,

several times i searched for a couple of hours on the internet what the exact difference is between the 'Normalize volume - set the same volume for all tracks' in the Basic settings of the Spotify Windows Program under Music Quality and the 'Set the same volume level for all songs' under the Playback menu in the Advanced Settings. Still i didn't find a good answer (found a few topics on these forums where there was no reply) on what is actually the impact on the music quality nor which settings i should choose to get maximum quality.

I read about the loudness, normalizing, dynamic ranges, etc etc but still i can't figure out what could possible be the difference or best setting.

It would be great someome could clear this up.
