Does not start session of the SPOTIFY application in windows 7 SP1 x32bits

What's up, I have the problem that I can't log in with my account in the Spotify application on my Windows 7 SP1 X32 Bits operating system.

I get the following error: "This app restricted to premium user only. Error code: 409"

I tried on WINDOWS 7 SP1 X64BITS and it logs in without problems with my account. I only have this problem with WINDOWS 7 SP1 X32BITS.

Hi there @kandrix77!

 

It's worth trying a clean reinstall by following the steps here to give the app a fresh start. In case the issue persists, try running the app in compatibility mode for another version of Windows to see if that does the trick.

 

A screenshot which shows the exact error message you get when you attempt to log in would also be greatly appreciated - just make sure any sensitive info, like your username/email address aren't visible.
