Downloading podcasts on Windows desktop?

Hi,

I find Spotify to be by far the best app to listen to podcasts, especially since I use the app a lot. I am trying to listen to them on desktop lately, and it seems like there's no option to donwload them.

I always have all my playlists downloaded on my laptop, and I would need to do the same at present with some of the podcasts I listen to. Is it really impossible to donwload podcasts on desktop?
